Research

The potential for advancements in canine health research is greater than ever.

Cornell University has a long history of game-changing contributions in canine health. From vaccine development of the canine parvovirus, to genomic research addressing blindness in dogs. More than half of the vaccines routinely administered by veterinarians to keep your dog healthy were developed at Cornell. Over the years, these discoveries have saved the lives of millions of our canine companions.

Engagement

Our canine companions are part of our family. We get such a short time with them, we want to do all that we can to ensure they are living into their prime, and enjoying a quality of life that allows them to run, play and paw with the best of them.

We seek to engage with dog owners and enthusiasts by making researchers more accessible, research more relatable and more actionable. We will work with you to identify ways that you can be involved from participating in clinical trials to citizen scientist initiatives.
